Tattoo & Multidisciplinary Artist

Vee Mateus is a multidisciplinary artist from Setúbal, Portugal, whose work explores the intersections of psychology, poetry, and visual art. After eight years in London, where their illustration project A Study Of Monsters began, Vee moved into tattooing in 2022, guided by mentors across Portugal and beyond. Their tattoos are symbolic narratives that inhabit the body like dream fragments—deeply personal, poetic, and intuitive. Alongside tattooing, Vee works across ceramics, painting, and murals, continuing a practice rooted in storytelling and emotional depth.

Currently vee is a resident artist at THe Covenant tattoo studio in almada, Portugal.
